Creation is the music ministry of the LIFE TEEN program at Immaculate Conception
Church in Stoughton, MA,
www.stoughtonlifeteen.com. Their
ministry is under the umbrella of the larger National LIFE TEEN
program whose purpose is to bring teens closer to Christ through
their Catholic faith.
New Creation brings a fresh, contemporary style of music to worship
which is appealing not only to teenagers, but to all age groups.
The band has been together since 1999 under the direction of
Phil and Sue Fortin.
They have appeared in concert and other events with such notable
Catholic performers as Jesse Manibusan and
Tom
Kendzia. In addition, their
CD titled “This Is The Day” features a number of praise and
worship favorites and original compositions as well as appearances
by noted Boston area sax player Bob Kirby, and members of the Black
Catholic Choir of the Archdiocese of Boston under the direction of
Meyer Chambers.
